General Terms and Conditions for Paddle Wānaka Ltd

  • Cancellations must be given 24 hours prior to the commencement of the tour to receive a full refund. Cancellations within the 24 hour period will receive no refund.
  • If Paddle Wānaka needs to cancel a booking for any reason, customers will be notified as early as possible, and will be given the option to rebook or be refunded 100% of the trip cost.
  • If you have booked and do not show up for your trip for whatever reason, no refund will be given.
  • Paddle Wānaka will require the signing of a risk disclosure and waiver form on the day of participation.


Things to consider are listed below:

1) You may get wet while participating and the weather may change very quickly. Make sure you are prepared for this, if you have any questions please reach out to us.
2) Kayaking, stand up paddle boarding, and water taxis are activities that inherently involve risks and potential hazards. The risks and hazards include, but are not limited to: capsizing, drowning, collision (with another watercraft or static object), adverse weather conditions, hypothermia, fire and loss of personal property.
3) Paddle Wānaka may, at their discretion, change the planned routes, add boundaries/restrictions or any other adaptation deemed necessary for safety. This will not lead to a refund unless your activity is cancelled or we ask you to return early.
