Beachfront freedom rentals – kayak or SUP

This is a fantastic choice for those wanting to explore Lake Wanaka by kayak or paddle board (SUP) independently or on your own agenda. It’s also a great choice for families!

Popular places to explore by paddle include around the bay to Eely Point, that ‘famous Wanaka tree’, Waterfall creek and the favourite Ruby island!

We offer both our New Zealand made, purpose built expedition kayaks as well as Red brand stand up paddle boards (SUP).

With all of our freedom kayaks and beach rentals you must bring a buddy if your intention is to paddle for more than 1 hour.

Bookings are preferred during summer, but not essential. Come on down to the Wanaka lakefront and check us out! (NB From May – Sept, we operate on demand – just give us a call)

Look for the van with the trailer parked on the beach in front of the Lake Bar.
